Milton Street Continues Baffling Campaign
Another day, another twist in the ongoing mayoral candidacy of New Jersey’s Milton Street. Yesterday, Street came up with a kickoff plan for his mayoral candidacy: A March 1 rally outside City Hall where he expects 5,000 people to show up to support his Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol-inspired plan to deputize ordinary Philadelphia citizens and give them police powers. If he doesn’t get those 5k people outside City Hall — and, by God, Philadelphia Will Do will be doing everything it can to make sure there is double that there — Milton will drop out of the race. But that’s not all! Milton is also planning a lawsuit against the township of Moorestown, New Jersey, for arresting him just because there was a little ol’ warrant out for his arrest. (Several, actually.) He also said his lady friend — the one who he says actually lives in Moorestown — was pulled over due to a 10-year-old parking ticket yesterday. And when her dog jumped out of the car and went on the side of the road, the police officer forced her to clean it up! (No, I am not making this up.) And, of course, he continued to make mentions of Watermelon Man. Huzzah. Milton: March 1 is do-or-die day [Daily News] |
