CBS 3’s Twitter A Little Dramatic

It would take a lot for CBS 3’s Twitter account to top the tweet (sigh) about Larry Mendte earlier this month. On a side note, I stopped paying attention to my Twitter account when they got rid of the ability to IM tweets (sigh, again). Also, the site was down approximately 200 percent of the time.

Anyway: CBS 3’s Twitter soldiers on. And I think I prefer the previous format of Larry Mendte Facts — e.g., “Larry Mendte has had sex with every co-anchor he’s ever worked with,” would be a good one — to the current drama overload:

Note: These two were not back-to-back; I just cut out the boring ones.

Man, for a news organization that really enjoyed violence just two hours ago, CBS 3 really did a 180 there.

Exclusive Photoshop Of Kate Moss

Okay, okay: Kate Moss was at Johnny Brenda’s Saturday night, which is hilariously awesome. (It was also chronicled on Twitter; look, she was at Black Cat in DC, too!)

There were no photos of the event, which means I have taken this opportunity to make my very own Kate Moss at Johnny Brenda’s photo, which you see above. I am now going to sell this Photoshop photo to TMZ for eleventy-million dollars and retire to my own private island in the middle of the Schuylkill.

‘Daily News’ Honors Firefighters With Hitler Reference

The lead of Damon C. Williams’ article about two late firefighters who were honored with a plaque:

SEPTEMBER 1939 is a month etched in history books as the beginning of a world conflagration.

That month, Hitler invaded Poland, leading Great Britain to declare war on Germany, which ultimately led to U.S. involvement and World War II.

On a side note, I would totally recommend checking out Williams’ Twitter page, which is an awesome combination of slang, old-timey newspaper speak and the acronym YFJ, which stands for Your Favorite Journalist.

Top o the mornin’, peeps! Regulatin’ like Warren G. Time for YFB to upload a video to YouTube.
