The Sunday Inquirer contained an article about how the Jersey shore is looking to attract new visitors with an “edgy” website. The site, YourPlayTherapy.com, has short blurbs on shore resorts and promises to have flash games of traditional boardwalk attractions “soon.”
Okay, the website was about as edgy as Home Improvement. But the highlight of it is the questionnaire. It asks you a bunch of nonsensical questions and then spits out a shore destination that’s a perfect fit. I took the test and got Margate as my first choice, and Seaside Heights as my second choice, which is kind of like saying, “Oh, your No. 1 vacation spot is Bermuda, and your No. 2 is Baghdad.” Anyway, if I ever do go on a vacation again, I’m going back to Wildwood, thank you very much.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed taking the quiz, especially this question:
Oh, New Jersey. It’s always something, isn’t it?
