Every Celebrity Into The Gene Pool!

103006foxlimbaugh.png

First, that’s only one celebrity. (Sharon Stone doesn’t count.)

Second, this story continues to get more intriguing. You have Rush Limbaugh, that dude who played Jesus in the Mel Gibson movie (Jim Caviezel), Kurt Warner, Jeff Suppan, Mike Tyson’s ex-wife and that woman who’s in the Acme ads (Patricia Heaton) against Michael J. Fox, Sharon Stone, Moby and Michael J. Fox’s mom.

Who will join next? Does Urkle support stem-cell research? How about Gillian Anderson? Ooh, and Demi Moore, I must know where she stands! I can’t make a decision on a subject without hearing what Kevin Federline thinks! And just where is Fatboy Slim on this issue?

Oh, and there’s a slideshow of all the players involved! Wow! Imagine if they did this for, like, local elections? (Had slideshows and celebrities involved.) People might actually vote.

A Way To Get People Interested In Politics

Good thing we got rid of those pesky elections and replaced them with celebrity deathmatches.

Fox-Limbaugh Battle Gets Uglier [NBC 10]

Just rush right past this one, folks

121605rush.jpg Okay, so I haven’t really commented on the whole Donovan McNabb sold out his race or whatever tripe Jerry Mondesire wrote in his newspaper last week. I didn’t really expect it to blow up at all, since it was clearly written by someone who had never seen an Eagles game ever in his life.

Seriously. Even the non-sports fan could answer the question, “What was Donovan McNabb’s best year?” Hint: It was the year the Eagles went to the Super Bowl. And that year, McNabb ran for the fewest number of yards until this injury-plagued season. So to say that McNabb is better when he runs is kind of silly. As for the other stuff? Eh, whatever. It sounds pretty equally stupid to me. Even the head of the national NAACP said Mondesire’s comments were stupid.

Anyway, so let’s move on: So Rush Limbaugh — surprise! — has now entered the fray, and while I must admit Ol’ Rush clearly knows his football, he’s a little off base with his “Oh the Philly media is only building up McNabb ’cause he’s black.” Which is silly. The Philly media builds up every superstar athlete (except Bobby Abreu). And now a lot of people in the media are criticizing him. And Rush thinks McNabb shouldn’t be criticized, blah blah blah. Whatever. But what caught my eye after perusing his transcripts was this:

I got an example of this just published today by some clown named Rich Hoffman.

Ha! Now this is the kind of media catfighting that deserves to be written about. Hoffman probably won’t respond, though, so unfortunately this will probably die here. But we can all hope it won’t.
