Gossip Girlfriend

The oh-so-clever use of “gay” as an insult did not sway us: Gossip Girlfriend is back for one last hurrah. Yes, last night was the season finale, and since Sarah and I can’t plan anything past, say, this weekend, we’re declaring it the end of the feature youse all love so much, Gossip Girlfriend. But not before a recap of last night’s episode!

President’s Day Recap

Since President’s Day has suddenly become a holiday that everyone takes off — had I known this, I totally would have slept until noon yesterday — I decided I’d do a quick recap of what I posted yesterday:

• NJ Weedman is moving to California.
• The Inquirer sports columnists got their headshots rated.
• There was a new Overwritten Lead of the Moment.
• The Inky took on the growing bad road sign epidemic, though they have some inhouse cleaning to take care of.
• And, finally, the mascots are back on Good Day Philadelphia.

Those’re the highlights in case you were celebrating our fearless leaders by chopping down cherry trees or trying on stovepipe hats or not finding WMDs.
