Yesterday was was Free Plan B Day all across Bucks County and apparently all across America, as Planned Parenthood gave out the backup plan pill free to all women over 18.

Plan B used to only be available with a prescription, but a recent FDA ruling cleared the pill for over-the-counter sales. Pro-life groups — clergy, lay people and high school kids — picketed outside the Planned Parenthood administrative offices in Buxco, as well as a few of the ‘Hood’s locations in Lower Bucks. Anti-abortion are against the pill — which is just a higher dose of regular contraceptive — because it.. uh.. could stop someone from having an abortion, or something.

The giveaway happened in Delaware, too, where pro-life activists also boycotted:

Moira Sheridan, president of Delaware Right to Life, said men will use Plan B to help convince females to have unprotected sex. “Sexually irresponsible men can very easily slip it to women, and it’s something they can use to their advantage,” she said.

Slip it to them? Like into their drink or something? Damn, we’re assholes. Er.
