N.J. Woman Even Tougher Than David Murphy
When I heard Action News‘ David Murphy separated his shoulder but continued to play in a charity softball game and then drove himself to the hospital, I thought I’d found the winner for toughest person in the area. Forget that. Check out 47-year-old Annette Coletta from New Jersey. The nurse at Upper Township Middle School was following buses on a trip to the Camden Aquarium — I refuse to call it the Adventure Aquarium — when a metal rod went through her windshield and hit her in the eye. Obviously, a very serious injury, and I don’t even think I can imagine that much pain. Then here’s what happened:
