Jim Gerlach is the U.S. Rep from the 6th District and is up for re-election this fall. Above Average Jane noticed some interesting Google ad placement:

Strange, strange ad placement. The truth about abs, huh? I wonder if this will have the same success as the 9/11 truth movement.

Which of these things doesn’t belong? [Above Average Jane]

Rob Andrews Already Getting Attacked

040908jerseyinquirer.jpg

A reader was browsing her Pennsylvania Democrats email when she noted a “Rob Andrews for Senate” Google ad on the side of the page. Andrews, a U.S. Congressman, is challenging 147-year-old incumbent Frank “Secaucus Junction” Lautenberg in the primary.

The link goes to robandrews2008.com, which is a weird URL to use for the website of the Jersey Inquirer. It’s also odd that the paper only seems to report on negative news about Rob Andrews.

Still, I’m pretty pumped about a new newspaper to make fun of. But, you know, it could use some stories.
