Noted Metro columnist Marc Lamont Hill had dinner with ex-View host Star Jones; I can only assume they discussed the political fracturing of the United States, or maybe that column Hill wrote about how if you take a pole dancing class, you’re not a good person and Chris Rock agrees. (That old post appears to have disappeared.)

The photos are from some site called Bossip, “the leading celebrity online property which has an urban sensibility.” Oh, I see.

Meanwhile, his latest column on Pop Matters contains this aside: “[T]he suburban bred Kobe will never reach the ghetto superstar status of his generational peer, Allen Iverson, despite his extravagantly calculated gestures.”
