I’ve poked fun at NBC 10’s “Eagles Fan Blogger” before, but the slideshow he has on NBC 10 today of the construction of “The Brent” — Or is he Brent? I’ve never quite figured this out — his Veterans Stadium-inspired Eagles shrine in what formerly was his garage.

And, really, there’s nothing you can do but stand and applaud that kind of dedication, even if the dude does write it “Veteran’s Stadium.” But, hey, Eagles mania connects all Philadelphians, especially when your garage is this cool.

If You Read One Thing This Year, Make It This!

It’s a little out in the ‘burbs, but it’s important information, so I think you guys should know. From the crime log in the Doylestown Intelligencer:

A teenager stole beer from a garage on Mulberry Drive on April 1. A woman who lives at the house saw the boy in her garage shortly after 10 p.m. Police are reminding people to keep their garages closed.

Phew! Now this is the advice you couldn’t get from anyone but the police.
