KYW 1060 Runs 10-Year-Old Story

The pixelated logo at right can only mean one thing: The Philadelphia Tribune is launching an e-dition of the newspaper!

Yes, KYW 1060 reports the nation’s oldest black newspaper (neat!) and lover of press parking now has an e-dition, which is a Flash applet that loads images of the newspaper as it looks in print. (It doesn’t mean they’re just finally putting the newspaper online, since they already have a website.) But, look, with this new edition you can read stories online:

The Philadelphia Tribune publisher Robert Bogle calls it a good opportunity - an
E-Edition or electronic edition of the nation’s oldest and the region’s largest African American newspaper: “If you see an article or story that you like, you can click it and it will be magnified for you. The same for an advertiser, this definitely has a significant benefit for our advertisers.”

Oh my God, soon they’re going to tell me I’ll be able to update a website using a simple form I can access from my browser and it will go up right on the front page in reverse chronological order!
