Clinton, Obama Trade Barbs On Legal Drugs

You no doubt heard over the weekend that Hillary Clinton had a shot of Crown Royal to show how common she is. Yes, if the Yale-educated son of a former president can run as an outsider, so can Hillary Clinton.

The shot of Crown Royal is an interesting choice; while high-end enough to show that she’s not a commoner drinking Banker’s Club whiskey, it’s not quite expensive enough to be a really solid whiskey choice for a multimillionaire. Come on, Hills! I’ve only had Johnnie Walker Blue Label once, but if I made $109 trillion last year like you and Bill did, I would be filling an in-ground pool with the stuff.

And now, Barack Obama has struck back with these comments: “They’ll promise you anything. They’ll even give you a long list of proposals. They’ll even come around with TV crews in tow and throw back a shot and a beer.” Whoo! It’s a good thing this campaign continues to focus on the issues.
