Obama’s Grandmother In New Ad

Look! Barack Obama has a new ad with his racist typical white person grandmother! This ad is way better than his other recent ones, however, though I’m sure Clinton will soon have an ad where she answers the phone at 3 a.m. to help Obama’s grandmother cross the street to avoid black people.

Olivia Sadly Missing From New Clinton Ad

Here’s Michael Nutter’s new ad for Hillary Clinton. (She just released five new ones, including one in Spanish.) Not much to this, although Nutter says she wants to “invest in our communities,” which no other candidate wants to do.

Ed Rendell’s new Clinton ad after the jump.

Hillary’s New Hilarious Parody Ad

Hillary Clinton just released her new Pennsylvania ad like 10 seconds ago; it’s a remake of her 3 a.m. ad, which asked what presidential candidate you’d want answering the phone during a crisis at 3 a.m.

It apparently worked so well Clinton is now re-running the ad in Pennsylvania, only this time it’s a 3 a.m. phone call about the economy! It’s pretty much a complete parody of the original ad — only it’s actually funny, a first in Internet parody video history. Oh, yeah, and she’s serious about answering that 3 a.m. economic crisis phone call. WHO FORGOT TO LOCK THE STOCK MARKET???

Oh, and Barack Obama got into a fight with an “eBay guy” today in Philly. If I want a candidate to tell off somebody… hmm. It was Walnuts McCain in a cinch, I though, but Obama showed me something today. Keep it up, Barry!

Barack Obama’s New Ad

Whoa! Now Barack Obama is speaking directly to us like he’s Vince Fumo or Tom Knox or something. But it makes fun of Exxon! And, oh no, $3.50 for gas! And for some reason they’re going to pay a penalty for profits — and this is going to make them want to make less profit which is good for us, the consumer.

Obama would get us off foreign oil, though, as he is insistent all new cars made after 2009 run on hope.

Vern Anastasio: Superhero For Council

With the advent of broadband Internet and the invention of YouTube and other easy video sharing services, now it’s not just the richest candidates who can make video advertisements for their political campaigns. Sure, so far it’s only three mayoral candidates — Brady, Knox and Evans — who have ads on television, but there’s nothing to stop other mayoral candidates or City Council hopefuls from putting their videos online.

And, thus, here is Vern Anastasio’s initial campaign ad, which shows that he’s not only a candidate for City Council, he has superpowers as well.

Damn. You know, I’m all for better city services, but I think Anastasio should be playing up his abilities of teleportation and super-speed instead. I’m not quite sure how these would help our city, but, I ‘unno, I think they’d impress voters enough to give Vern their vote.

And somewhere in South Philadelphia, Frank DiCicco’s hardwood floors tremble… [Amen]
