Britt Reid Has ‘Repulsive’ Conversation?

Hey, so over the weekend Britt Reid was released but he has to get a job and go to rehab and etc., etc. But sort of lost in the story was this info from the judge regarding a jailhouse phonecall:

And the judge alluded to other decisions the 22-year-old has made, saying the court is in possession of “repulsive” jailhouse phone conversations between Britt Reid and his mother.

The prosecutor in the case was the target of those conversations. But Senior Deputy Attorney General Marc Costanzo said he was never threatened and couldn’t comment on phone calls.

Aw, come on, judge! You can’t titillate us with supposed “repulsive” phone conversations and then leave us hanging. That’s just unfair.

Calling the Andy Reid household a “Drug Emporium” — he also later compared it to Carrefour — a judge yesterday sentenced Garrett and Britt Reid to 23 months in prison while blasting their upbringing. (Judge Steven T. O’Neill really should have gone with a Mountain Meadows massacre reference, but, hey.)

Reid’s son Garrett also smuggled 89 pills in his ass when he went into jail. And to make things better, Garrett was apparently selling drugs in North Philly. (This seems like just bad business. No way he makes as much money on the streets of North Philly than he could have made from rich kids in the suburbs.)

“I liked being the rich kid in that area,” the report quoted Reid as saying, apparently in reference to North Philadelphia. “I could go anyplace in the ‘hood. They all knew who I was. I liked being a drug dealer. . . . These kids were scared of me. I was even selling to their parents.”

Meanwhile, the Eagles and Cowboys play Sunday night and the jokes are just going to get even less clever.

Okay, so Action News is reporting police will arrest Britt Reid today on weapons charges stemming from a ridiculous series of unconnected events last week.

But it is only NBC 10 that bites down to the real meat of the story. The station has photographs of Louise Hartman, the woman Garrett Reid hit with his car after allegedly running a red light. It shows… ah… a person with bad teeth?

And if you were wondering why Louise Hartman hasn’t talked to the media yet, it’s not because of shyness:

Despite Ms. Hartman’s desire to cooperate with the numerous media requests for interviews, she remains physically unable to accommodate such requests.
