• Is the Delaware Republican Party going broke? Would make sense. After all, they’re supposed to be the more fiscally responsible party, right? [Delaware Watch]
• Hey, guess what? There are rats! In the city! And not just in the subways! [Metroblogging Philadelphia]
• Remind me that, if I ever get into an argument with my cell phone company, not to write a missive as long as most PW cover stories — 3,396 words — about it. [Phillybits]
• Wait, I’m supposed to make fun of this, too, aren’t I? Right? Well, a commenter took care of it for me: “Um, I don’t even know where to begin. You kids make it that much easier for me to move. Oh well, good luck with what may very well be the sweat pants of all -ists.” Ba-zing! [Phillyist]
• JGT Update: In Chicago, heading to storm-damaged St. Louis soon. [Traffic.com Roadtrip]

Yee-ha! It’s Bash Bill Giles Day™ here in Philadelphia, and bloggers are just going bananas about it! (Including myself!) So it’s time for a special all-Bash Bill Giles edition of Blogicized! Let’s take a look!
• A commenter pointed out this amusing piece by Tom Durso, which includes a nice translation guide for what Giles is actually trying to say. It’s worth it for the last line. [Shallow Center]
• “Ruby Legs” says that Bill Giles must be forced out, a la Marge Schott, and also says the Phillies are worth a billion dollars. That seems about a billion dollars too high. [Phillyville]
• Will Bunch says this team must be sold immediately, but says a boycott won’t work, so we have to beg. I can only imagine the email he’s going to get from Giles: “On your knees, beyotch!” [Attytood]
• Balls, Sticks & Stuff asks: Are the Phillies incompetent, or just stupid? [Balls, Sticks & Stuff]
• Award-winning headline writer Peter Mucha comes up with the longest poll in Internet history. [Early Word]
• And, finally, Dan Rubin recaps it all! Huzzah! [Blinq]

• Ed Rendell ups the salaries of minimum wage earners to a cool seven-fifteen an hour, which still isn’t all that much. But, hey, it’s something, and, hey, the state legislature passed a law that people might actually like. Hip, hip and so forth. [A Smoke-Filled Room]
• Hey, Bunchy’s back! And, hey, he’s working on a self-fulfilling prophecy about Michelle Malkin or some random commenters on blogs! That’s the kind of stuff we live for. [Attytood]
• Got a spare, oh, I don’t know, 10 minutes or so? Here’s an enjoyable way to spend it, I suppose. [Whiskey Bar]

• Hey, the NBA draft is tonight! Get ready to watch the 76ers pick the player who will disappoint fans at least 41 times next season. That is, if he shows up. [Philly-Sports.Net]
• Alert! You can buy FireCharlieManuel.com if you really, really think that firing him will solve all the problems of the Phillies. Or if you have a lot of time on your hands. (Incidentally, the Phillies are losing 6-0 today.) [The 700 Level]
• The body of this blog entry about the housing bubble in Philadelphia is essentially just C&P’ed from the Inky’s story the other day, but the comments are somewhat interesting. Yes, it’s a slow day. [The Housing Bubble Blog via Phillyist]

• Randy Wolf will be making a rehab start tonight at Reading, which means he’ll hopefully be back in a Phillies (the NL team) uniform sometime soon. Could you imagine Randy Wolf throwing to Sal Fasano? The Wolf Pack and Sal’s Pals! It’d be the greatest moment in CBP history. [I've Made a Huge Tiny Mistake]
• The Pennsylvania ACLU on the possible marriage amendment in the commonwealth: “And it’s like getting an unwanted pinch on the butt to hear a lawmaker tell you ‘the gays’ are great, but they shouldn”t get married or French kiss in public.” Indeed! [Speaking Freely]
• And a very happy birthday to another one of PW’s bloggers, Liz Spikol, who turns 18 22 today. [The Trouble With Spikol]
