NBC 10 Has Finger On Pulse Of Philadelphia

I don’t know about you, but I feel like invading Iraq, getting SARS and being in college! I guess I’m kinda just feeling like 2003 after reading this article about metrosexuality on NBC 190’s website. Yes, we now know how long it takes NBC 10 to catch up to a trend, and the answer is “four years.”

Lori Delgado’s report, hilariously headlined “Is ‘Metrosexual’ Taking ‘Macho Man’s’ Place?”, and I really thought it might have been accidentally printed again — like when the Weekly Press ran a Super Bowl preview from 2004 this year — but then somebody made a Geico caveman joke, and I don’t think those ads were on yet back in ‘03.

He loves Armani, and confesses a love for the Spice Girls. And like in the movie “The Forty-Year-Old Virgin” will even get his chest waxed. But he’s not gay. He’s the current metrosexual — not too clean, not too caveman-like, but certainly not too afraid to pamper himself.
