Flesh-Eating Zombies Just Part Of A Movie, Reports Daily News

A correction in today’s Daily News:

In an article yesterday about an antiterrorism exercise involving livestock in Philadelphia and Chester County, an FBI spokeswoman was quoted as saying that hoof-and-mouth disease had been found in three states. The spokeswoman made the comment in connection with the fake scenario used in the exercise. No actual instances of the disease have been reported in the United States.

Man, nobody ever send a Daily News reporter to one of those high school assemblies where the principal tells all the kids their friends died in a drunk driving accident and then (surprise!) nobody actually died and everyone learns a valuable lesson.

Correction Of The Day

Right here in today’s Daily News comes this superb reaction:

An article in yesterday’s paper on Bryan McDonald incorrectly said that he had been accused of raping Nicole Reilly in June 2003. McDonald, who is on trial in Reilly’s death, is accused of raping another woman that month.

I am sure his family requested the correction because the inaccuracy made their family look bad.
