76ers’ Totally Amazing Halftime Show

Even if their jerseys are still ugly, the 76ers are white hot right now with three straight wins.

Considering nobody showed up for Game 6 of the first round of the playoffs last year, it’s doubtful people are going to start coming in droves to the Center anytime soon. But maybe there’s another reason: Turns out the human slinky halftime show was way more entertaining than any “basket ball” game could ever be.

The booing starts about halfway through. It’s not as loud as the booing of Destiny’s Child back in 2001, but then again this is a much more entertaining performance.

Thanks, RJ!

That human slinky really “tied the Bengals” if you know what I mean. I was at one of their playoff games last year, and the halftime act was a group of breakdancers that I’m pretty sure were from Narberth. They were awful. In all seriousness, if I tried to do quizzo at halftime of a Sixers game it would go over better than this garbage. But I’m kind of liking how bad it is too. I’m almost wondering what they can do that’s even worse.

And remember folks, that’s not just the halftime show, that’s the SEASON OPENER halftime show. Nothin’ but the best.

P.S. The carnival tricycle race was an abomination.

A couple of weeks ago, the entire female contingent of the DN night copy desk was mesmerized by a video of this guy doing his thing in front of a waaaaaay more receptive audience.

    Poor Slinky Dancer Man.
