Correction Of The Day

Right here in today’s Daily News comes this superb reaction:

An article in yesterday’s paper on Bryan McDonald incorrectly said that he had been accused of raping Nicole Reilly in June 2003. McDonald, who is on trial in Reilly’s death, is accused of raping another woman that month.

I am sure his family requested the correction because the inaccuracy made their family look bad.

    yesterday’s best:

    In an article in yesterday’s paper on the arrest of alleged Center City serial robber Kevin McCray, police incorrectly reported that McCray had been apprehended at Genes, a children’s fashion and furniture store. McCray was arrested at the neighboring Sansom Cinema, an all-male movie house.
