On Further Review…
Thanks to Football Outsiders for noticing that the blimp cam showed the ball had crossed the plane on the Bears’ 4th & Goal stop at the half-yard line in the Eagles’ disappointing loss last night. Right? Right?? I’m not completely sure due to the angle. All it has to do is cross the front of the white line; it looks like he got in. Sigh. |

and you can see buckhalter gettin his helmet ripped off too. good use of your challenges andy
Actually, it looks like the angle is slightly behind Buck. If it was 90 degrees up and perfectly vertical i dont think it would look like the ball crossed the plane.
The blimp camera can’t be used for the challenge, so it doesn’t matter!
Poor Eagels, Poor Philly, when will they ever have a team worth rooting for.
Uh… hello? The Phillies are in the playoffs. Let’s root for them, come on!
dd where the fuck you from that you have a team worth rooting for? dallas? Go birds, go phils, go flyers !
What you can’t tell is when his knee hit the ground. If it hit the ground before the ball crossed the line then it’s not a TD.
What about the Bear’s first ‘touchdown’? After the receiver got control of the ball, he only put one foot down in bounds! Technically - not a touchdown! Another challenge that Andy blew!
lets all complain about the eagles, if they played better in any of the other 59 minutes of the game it wouldnt have had to come down to being stopped before the endzone, and also im pretty sure his knees are already down.
This isn’t a “blimp” cam. This is a cam that NBC uses from above the field.
this does suck, but we do have team worth rooting for!
GO PHILS!
