The Best Philly.com Poll, Ever
Everybody overuses the “best/worst [x] ever” construction; I am probably among the primary offenders. (I’m working on it.) But this time it’s serious. End the voting, stop the recount, etc., etc. There is no way any poll on Philly.com can ever top this one attached to Elmer Smith’s column today. Personally, I thought Obama would lose the election because of the McCain camp’s last minute surprise video of Changey McHope doing blow with Marion Barry. But I guess it’s either “race” or “inexperience.” Sigh. Poll: What is more likely to cost Obama the election? [Philly.com] |

What’s more likely to cost Obama the election? The fact that the words ‘race’ and ‘inexperience’ are stuck to his campaign like glue. Sigh indeed.
I think it’s funny that they seem to treat an Obama loss as a foregone conclusion. Now it’s just up to the philly.com readers to decide if it will be because of race or inexperience.
thanks for the fake-out — i totally just tried to click on ‘inexperience’ but only because i believe in the message Dr. Martin Luther King conveyed in his oft-quoted speech… no kudos to the inquirer for such a short-sighted online poll.
