Neasties Not Sold On This ‘Barack Obama’
Amazingly, the editors of the Daily News decided to run the greatest story yet written this year in Saturday’s edition (official motto: “Nearly 2 cents per page!”). Dave Davies followed around Joe Biden in Northeast Philly, and the laughs didn’t stop ’til he left the Dining Car. But first, Davies chatted with Mike McAleer, the Democratic ward leader in the 66th ward, home of one Daniel Hall McQuade for the first 17 or so years of his life. What’s the problem with getting people there to vote for Obama?
Oh, to be a fly on the wall during a conversation between McAleer and one of those 66th-ward Democrats he’s talking about. But perhaps the vice presidential nominee will have a better shot than the ward leader. Let’s go to the Dining Car!
McCain/the lady ‘08, apparently! Hope you enjoy your 71-year-old president, America. Biden gets mixed welcome in Northeast [Daily News] |

72 by the time he would take office. Christ.
Neasties were once Kenzos, so this is no surprise.
Bwaaahh hahahahahah!
When did the Northeast get Democrats????
@friendlynerd: I’m happy to see Kenzos blamed when it’s appropriate but racism wasn’t imported to the NE from Kensington. It’s a native product.
I can’t wait to see the letters in the NE Times!
What’s great is how open she is about it. I couldn’t see anyone except those older than John McCain giving a quote as great as, “It’d be disgusting to get a man named Barack Obama as president of the United States.”
@MB
Authors are below comments, not above them. I commented on how crusty and old McCain is, not about Kensington.
I’m trying to decide what tickles me most about this woman. Her flagrant racism? Her rampaging stupidity? Her stubborn belief that being a Muslim disqualifies one for the presidency in a nation that specifically forbids religious tests for public office? I just can’t decide. It’s like trying to choose between ice cream and a blowjob.
Funny how everyone is so aghast at the woman’s racism, although she never mentioned race, not once, read the article people, but turn right around and stereotype residents from kensington. That my friends is hypocrisy.
Also, I am pretty sure that a lot of the arts community and every supposed counter culture hipster has moved to kensington in the last year to gloat that they live in this “bad” neighborhood. People in glass houses.
I would tell the newspaper I wouldn’t vote for a hipster president.
It really scares me how people in the Northeast can be so narrow minded at times. And what really gets me is how they will all vote against their interests because they think some man is pretending to be Christian and then, what, is going to turn the country into a Muslim state? Like I just don’t even understand what these people are thinking…
hey, Kenzos aren’t all bad.
check us out: The Kenzos
but yeah, when will ignorant jackasses get over this conspiracy theory shit?
and i’m so sick of hearing that dizzy bitch ask about “who obama really is”
i’ll tell you who he really is: he’s some guy who is too respectful to staunchly deny being arab or muslim because there’s nothing inherently wrong with being either as our country is made up of ethnically diverse people.
i do have the correct country right? america? freedom and equality?
i mean, i’m of german decent. so i’m automatically an evil nazi?
it’s scary, but some of these people would have sided with the nazis…
