Ye without sin? Blessings to Mr. Mendte and his family. This is the first time in any recent memory in which I’ve seen a person speak on his own behalf, take responsibility, assume culpability and vow to make amends. Who else has done that? John Edwards, Larry Craig, Detroit’s Mayor, the litany infamous Philly politicians, how about sinful Bishops and Cardinal Bevilacqua who protected pedophiles? Nobody, that’s who. God bless the Mendte family, they will make it in spite of society.
