Developing: Michael Phelps Still Awesome

This morning CNN gave the “developing story” banner to one Michael Phelps, who was taking questions. Frankly, I can’t believe this didn’t get breaking news treatment. CNN ought to be ashamed.

    Come on, D-Mac. It’s not like there was other breaking news to report… say there was a hurricane making landfall, or something like that. I’m sure CNN would have kept their priorities straight.

    Clearly an American winning 8 gold medals is far better news than warning people about a hurricane making landfall with a chance of killing hundreds. Right?
