Oh yes! Now this will be a great event for people-watching:

Applebee’s (S. 15th St., Philadelphia) and CBS3 will host an open casting call for models for The Price is Right from noon to 2 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 14. Applicants must be 18 years old and bring a completed application, proof of age and a headshot. One woman will be chosen to audition in Los Angeles for a chance to be on the game show hosted by comedian Drew Carey.

Anyone surprised the model search is at Applebee’s? Okay, right: No.

    Wait a minute…Applebees has a 2-for-1 deal on riblets on Thursdays at noon…I SENSE DISASTER!

    In NYC it is at a Sleepy’s Mattress store.
    That has more potential for comedy gold.
