Yes, the one with the lowest number of responses was, of course, about helping people. And the #1 response was wondering why the city didn’t do something about it. I guess if you pay your taxes… |

It is a public park; everybody can use it. But there are limits that every user must follow.
You just can’t make it your home and poop everywhere. That infringes on the free use by other members of the public. Vagrants shouldn’t be held to a lower standard and excused from being cited for breaking the rules.
Is it really that shocking that “why doesn’t the city do something” is the top answer? It’s what I would say.
Other cities manage to keep their homeless population under control - what are we not doing? And why not?
Eh, basically, this is just a case of “this post was funnier in my head.”
My favorite response ever: I was passing Alma de Cuba one day, and this guy walked up to panhandle to some of the outdoor diners. This really fashionably dressed Yuppie-type woman said: “Uh… we’re EATING.” Which, I thought, was kind of the point.
She probably checked “Empathy” in this poll.
Why wasn’t Soylent Green an option?
