There Are No Words
Um, so this is apparently the Myspace page of Joseph Genovese Jr., who was arrested last week for driving into two Cardinals fans leaving the baseball stadium, allegedly while under the influence. I believe that’s his mugshot? Selected comments: “I KNEW U LOOKED FAMILIAR ON THA TUBE…. SRY THAT SHIT HAPPENED 2 U YO” and “damnn joe… face on the news and shit.” Like most professionals, he lists his occupation as “Chronic Dealer.” |

first off and foremost us im ashamed of all the proud italians letting these stupid people poke fun and call names. I know my favorite movies are a bronx tale, scarface, and goodfellas. I know im a mother and a smart woman therefore do not judge upon nationalities or favorite movies. leave the kid alone he’s already in jail doing his time he’s sorry for what he’s done and God bless the Genovese family the Grassi family and everyone else involved. he’s an 18 year old trying to fit in a tough society of philly. he couldn’t harm someone and wouldn’t and the fact this happened on accident is a sin and he will learn his lesson while sittin a long time in jail. leave the kid alone and look at the real situation on hand. phillys drivers and driving laws and the leniency of the philadelphia pd. you are pathetic people like little girls in highschool.

He killed an innocent woman because he was under the influence.
Sorry? He proclaims to be a “chronic dealer” on his myspace site. According to him, as a hustla, he sells “weed,dope,crack,herion,meth.,and wAT EVa U FiEn fOr! 24-7″. His page is littered with incomprehensible references to drugs, rap music, and being Italian.
Tragically, the woman he killed was a retired teacher who spent her life in the public service trying to enjoy a baseball game. She had to die because of his stupidity.
Why should we feel bad for this dope?
What is it about Italians and mob movies like Goodfellas and Scarface (which, btw is about Cuban immigrant)? No offense, but I’m not Italian and I’d like to know.
As for Genovese, he’s clearly a repulsive, repugnant person. A lot of teenage boys are and I was too in my own way. His Myspace page is most likely 95 percent talk. I’m not discounting the likelihood that he was involved in drugs and drinking, but Myspace is full little people talking big. Genovese was projecting who he wanted to be.
His best bet now is to plead guilty and get onto the Scared Straight circuit to put him on the parole board’s good side.
um i just think he’s hot and hopefully he’ll learn his lesson. the woman killed in this accident is in my prayers along with her family and friends. God bless.
