Obama To Lose Election
Wow, all women? You think she could have at least won the nomination with that kind of support. Oh, I see: The newest media narrative is Hillary Clinton supporters who hate Barack Obama; presumably, these are the bitter voters who shoot guns and love Jesus. Anyway, this syndicated column is all about how John McCain will now be president and it’s all the media’s and Obama’s fault for winning all those delegates. Re-read this column (or any similar piece since Hillary’s campaign ended) and replace “African-Americans” for “Women” and all references to “sexism” with “racism” and voila, you get an alternate universe in which Hillary won and Obama lost and with his supporters making the same (but converse) ridiculous anecdotes and generalizations about how an entire class of people feels. The part about how “The women are angry at the ludicrous charges of racism leveled against Clinton by the Obama camp” is especially easy to reverse: “African Americans are angry at the ludicrous charges of sexism leveled against Obama by the Clinton camp.”
