Phillies UpdateHey, the second-place Fightins are only a game behind the Marlins; after losing two straight, Charlie Manuel has demoted Shane Victorino to the bench and installed Jayson Werth as the permanent center fielder. Eh, it’ll do. Victorino gives you some speed off the bench, but, well, it’s not like the outfield is all that much better, especially with Geoff Jenkins in right. Not that hitting is really the problem this season, as usual… |
