N.J. Spared From Its Drivers, Briefly
People who needed to get a driver’s license this morning in New Jersey today were SOL, as the state’s driver’s license system was down for almost five hours for no apparent reason. This little glitch is nicely explained in the comments of the Star-Ledger’s blog:

I would much rather have the government run healthcare than a bunch of rich elitists who hate the poor, minorities, women and homosexuals. I’m just waiting for them to start putting ovens and gas chambers in their facilities so they can conveniently dispose of such undesirables.
If we elect Democrats to government, on the other hand, we won’t have any rich elitists running the system. Instead, well have nice and caring people who want to protect the poor, minorities, women and homosexuals from the rich who hate them and have been oppressing them for generations. If we don’t all start voting for Democrats soon, George Bush will make himself into a dictator like Saddam Hussein and will throw all black people into gas chambers to kill them so he doesn’t have to worry about poverty anymore and his rich Republican friends can all divide up their money.
Jon, hon, did you skip your meds today?
The problem, Jon, is that Democrats aren’t “Democrats” anymore. They’ve all become moderate to far right Republicans- meaning, they only serve the wealthy and the corporations.
People think there is still this “liberal vs conservative” debate going on in big government.
It just isn’t so anymore. They are all pro-business and anti-consumer nowadays. It’s a one-party system where the rich alweays come out on top.
I don’t need meds, thank you very much.
BTW, I heard there’s an online petition being circulated to impeach Bush. It is imperative that we do this before it’s too late. I’ll share a link to the petition when I find it.
Yes, our federal corporate taxes are way too low. We need to elected people to government who will raise the corporate tax and keep all the rich elitists from getting even richer off of poor people’s backs. It’s amazing that corporations have such hatred for the average consumer, especially poor ones, and nobody does anything about it.
