I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s a cartoon ghost with spook written on it for christ sakes. Did you also know spook is also slang for a secret agent or spy? Perhaps it’s referring to that definition and how they don’t want spies (snitches, undercover cops, etc) causing problems in their tavern. There will always be racism in this country whether we want to admit it or not. And it’s gonna stay that way because everyone gets so easily offended by stupid stuff like this. If a black guy were to wear a shirt promoting Ritz Crackers would we jump up and say he hates white people? Very unlikely. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt that the shirt is a harmless catchphrase.
