Clinton, Obama Trade Barbs On Legal Drugs
You no doubt heard over the weekend that Hillary Clinton had a shot of Crown Royal to show how common she is. Yes, if the Yale-educated son of a former president can run as an outsider, so can Hillary Clinton. The shot of Crown Royal is an interesting choice; while high-end enough to show that she’s not a commoner drinking Banker’s Club whiskey, it’s not quite expensive enough to be a really solid whiskey choice for a multimillionaire. Come on, Hills! I’ve only had Johnnie Walker Blue Label once, but if I made $109 trillion last year like you and Bill did, I would be filling an in-ground pool with the stuff. And now, Barack Obama has struck back with these comments: “They’ll promise you anything. They’ll even give you a long list of proposals. They’ll even come around with TV crews in tow and throw back a shot and a beer.” Whoo! It’s a good thing this campaign continues to focus on the issues. She drinks beer and throws back a shot of whiskey. Obama bowls-horribly- and instead of taking the coffee offered to him wants an OJ instead. Next they’ll be kissing babies-oh wait- Obama already said he’s done that- ok, next they’ll be eating chicken dinners-oh, wait-he’s said he’s done that too. Hmm, I guess Obama is as much of a showman as any politician-and he says things behind closed doors that he apologizes for offending those he spoke about after it gets out-Politician? At least all of Hillary’s comments are out there and she does keep herself grounded in her middle-class upbringing. Hard not to when she has her Mom living with her!
Five million people in this country suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease. During the next administration, the number will skyrocket due to the aging baby boomer population.
We need to ask our candidates what they’re going to do about it before it bankrupts Medicare and Medicaid. PA voters must ask that question now.
