Phillies Crash To Victory

During today’s 5-2 win over the Mets, Jimmy Rollins injured his ankle diving back into second base.

That injury wasn’t all that funny, so after the jump, please enjoy a clip of Shane Victorino making a nice catch in center field and then getting pummeled by Jayson Werth after he makes the catch. And he holds on!

And on a side note, the Mets are having a runoff to combat all the people on the Internet like me who attempted to Rickroll Shea Stadium.

Shea Stadium was DEFINITELY playing its Rick Astley late in the game today. As the Phils were coming back from a break and Harry was promoting something or other (and thus, neither the field, nor stands, nor any other part of the stadium were visible), the dulcet tones of “Never Gonna Give You Up” could be heard, clearly, in the background.

Is there anything more hilarious than Charlie pulling his pants up as he “runs” to the outfield?
