Alan Keyes Was In Pa. And Nobody Told Me?
Last year around this time, a bunch of people held a pro-gun rally at Harrisburg in response to people who were, uh, anti-gun. (Right?) It ended up being a controversial because there was a sign saying Rep. Angel Cruz should be “hung from the tree of liberty.” KYW 1060, incidentally, calls him “a Philadelphia representative of color.” So how to make sure this rally won’t be reported as controversial by the media? Why, hire a black Christian to be the keynote speaker! That’s right: “Presidential candidate” Alan Keyes spoke at the rally. What does that mean - “a noted conservative of color”? That he eschews hot pink and tangerine and favors more muted colors?
