76ers Celebrate MLK Day With Rabbit

Above, the Philadelphia 76ers celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by throwing Hip Hop, their rabbit mascot, into giant bowling pins. Afterward, Eagles receiver Reggie Brown does not compare Dr. King to Donovan McNabb or Terrell Owens.

    There’s a funny glitch right before Reggie Brown starts talking. The title card that says “Martin Luther King, Jr. Day” suddenly shudders and loses its comma, reading “Martin Luther King Jr. Day.”

    My guess is that the designer and editor were having a grammar fight, and that was the best resolution they could come up with?
