Paul Marturano (the 32 year old) who sang that original stalker song was a myspace friend of mine for a while. But I kept getting too many bulletins, comments, etc about his shows so I dropped him.
He is a comic pianist in Bucks County I think.
And what is with the non-enforcement of the age limit?
Now, I’m thinking if I were dressed as Andy Reid, I would have gotten serious face time on America’s highest rated show.
all i’m saying is that you don’t need to pay people to be fake when there are many ugly comic book nuts that’ll happily do it for free. not saying it’s not staged to get maximum reaction, just that the reactions of the nut jobs are real.
The dude above seems real enough, but both of those people at the end — “the last two contestants” — were plants. It was way too staged.
oh come on. the last two were held back by the producers. staged for maximum reaction. not fake though.
The people are real. The crazy, talentless ones just get pushed through and pumped up by the producers just so they can get ratings.
“You’re unique! The judges will love you! You’ll do well!” is what they’re told for months until they get in front of those three, then they get eviscerated. This show really preys upon morons.
mike: exactly.
I like the FoxNews.com headline-
Reality Check: ‘American Idol’ Proves It’s Not Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The biggest winner? The USS Olympia looked great in a bunch of background shots.
I wonder how many times in history prior to this have Paul Robeson and Eddie Vedder been named in the same sentence?
