Spanish Tacos Invade Western Pennsylvania
The amusement park Kennywood (it’s near Pittsburgh) is being sold to a Spanish company that also manages a bunch of amusement and water parks across the U.S. and Europe. A spokeswoman, however, wanted to assuage any fears the public had and gave this statement:
Tacos are, of course, Mexican. The park is actually going to be turned into a bullfighting arena. |

Oh those Western Pennsylvanians. They are so provincial. A mistake of that sort would have never happened in Philly!
In any case I think they should convert it into the world’s biggest tapas bar!
I’m fairly sure here most people thinks tacos originated in Taco Bell.
this blog is so anti-american
i was going to say something insightful about provincial-ness but i got distracted by the taco bell reference.
there was totally an article about that very mixup in the onion years ago.
mmm, tacos
