City Council, Home Of Pointless Arguing
Wednesday, there was a hearing in City Council about a housing bill that would require developers to set aside homes to low- to middle-income residents. And, of course, developers had a problem with it. But there was a reasonable debate in City Council about the bill, and although the developer Carl Dranoff disagreed with Councilman Wilson Goode, he… oh, whatever, you know this is a lie.

the video of that is even funnier
As far as I know, Goode does not have lucrative outside employment (unlike, say, Councilman Brian O’Neill) besides his Council job. That means he only makes $98k-104k per year as a Councilman. That’s still a nice chunk of change, but probably no where near as much as Dranoff makes.
Well, yeah, I wasn’t trying to equate the two; I’m guessing Dranoff is much, much wealthier than any council member. That being said, Goode is still a pretty wealthy man, even though he only makes $98 grand a year (I looked it up!).
