At the polling place, you’ll meet neighbors you haven’t seen for years. Better, you’ll meet your local committeemen and women. They might be people to call when you need some help some day. And one of them might be Stu Bykofsky.
as one of your local committeewoman who is not at the polls, please let me tell you that the patronage system of asking committeepeople for favors is supposed to be fucking gone.
