Atheist Crime Shoots Up 10 Million Percent
A 77-year-old Olney woman was raped at knife-point in her house in June, and now Kevin McKeither is charged with the crime. Nice guy. The details of the attack are now coming out, too:

For the record, I used a photo of the Robot Devil, because if you’re going to believe in the devil, why not a robotic one? Maybe a robot God, too. That’d be much cooler.
The material composition of the devil you believe in is irrelevant to the belief itself.
… although, of course, belief in a mechanical devil could be construed to imply belief in said being having human creators. That would be significantly different from the traditionally believed provenance of the devil.

You’re deduction is a logically fallacious, Circumstantial Ad Hominem argument. Just saying “there is no god” doesn’t make him an atheist. He could be talking about the Christian god, Allah, or the Jewish god. Maybe he thinks god is the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and he doesn’t believe in that!

P.S. Is a god who condones and perpetrates genocides, rapes, torture, is “jealous and proud of it,” pestilential, and demands sacrifice in his name any more decent, or loving than this pig-rapist?
We do not claim that atheism makes people behave better. We merely point out that religion also fails to improve the way we treat each other, contrary to the claims of many believers and the churches.

First of all, how can crime be up 10 million percent? Second, virtually all violent crimes are committed by theists. We atheists are not sub-human and as a group are rejected by most people of faith, but i would like to say that by rejecting god (Where’s the proof) we also reject the fictional devil.
The problem here is that everyone is misdirecting their focus to the wrong element.

Of course there’s decency. This person is troubled to the point where he feels that there is nothing decent in the world. He’s angry about something, and probably feels abandoned by God. It’s the old “I’m mad at God for whatever reason, so I’m going to say he’s not real to get back at him” position. I guarantee he’ll get religion in prison–the state will make sure of that
Where’s the proof that there is no god? Atheists are all a bunch of dumbasses. I have a lot more respect for agnostics.
