Abridged ‘Daily News’ Columnists

Jill Porter: Traditional Daily News sob story, comin’ right up!

Phil Goldsmith: “So, instead, the homeless ironically end up in everybody’s neighborhood: Center City.” That’s not irony, it’s just sad.

Editor’s Note: I missed my new favorite columnist, Fatimah Ali, yesterday.

Why shun men from sex? They can get that at the golf course? And then I didn’t read the rest of the piece because I had to go to YouTube to see if they had clips of Dwight explaining Amish shunning (they don’t).

Apropos of nothing, but speaking of the Amish, I really enjoyed this comment from Phillyblog about the Amish: “I find such groups despicable. They live in the same nation as the rest of us, are protected by its citizens, and yet reject the entire population. What are we their servants, a necessary evil, or what. This attitude says it all.” Indeed it does.

LOL. Gotta love The Adlerian. You never know when he’s serious and when he’s joking (or is he always serious???)

Yeah, most of my knowledge of the Amish comes from a Tim Allen/Kirstie Alley movie…
