Mayor Finally Introduced To His Police Commissioner
It may have taken a triple homicide at a bar — and a bunch of shootings over the weekend — but Mayor John Street met with Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson for a brainstorming session! This marks the first time the mayor has met Johnson, and the two were said to get along pretty well. And, apparently their solution is to ban alcohol or something.

As long as he keeps prohibition to “those neighborhoods” and it doesn’t effect non-armed (save pepper spray) alcoholics like me in Center City I’m fine.
Street shouldn’t appear in public unless he’s flanked by Alycia Lane and she’s wearing a bikini. That should improve his public image.
About the only thing this gentleman, and I use that term very loosely here, has done is made David Dinkins look competent.
As far as his overall performance, he is not in the same league as Sharpe James.
There are enough guns in this country for every person to own one AND have left overs. Guns don’t wear out, so why ban them?
Crime and shootings in this city, like all US cities are NOT the result of a gun problem. Its a povery problem, and an education problem, and a social problem.
