Going-Away Party For Eternal Damnation
Colleen Ott was born Catholic, converted to the Baptist denomination — heathen! — at 17 and most recently was a member of the Pennypack Baptist Church in Northeast Philly. In June, she was even named a deacon, which means she could distribute communion and get superpowers or something. Last month, though, she came out as a lesbian. Naturally, the church told her she couldn’t be a deacon anymore unless she went to gay therapy and she’s now with a new parish, First Baptist Church of Philadelphia in Center City. As you can tell by the name, this was rated the best Baptist church in Philly by Phillymag. It also has a pastor who said: “When Jesus was preaching the Gospel, he never said, ‘Only the straights shall eat at my Father’s table.’” But her old church wasn’t so bad, really. Although the Rev. Tony Tilford and his wife, co-pastor Jean-Marie Tilford, wanted to her to join either Harvest International Ministries or Exodus International, two groups that try to de-gayify people, they did want her to be happy:

“De-gayify”. That’s an awesome word.
No- that’s perfectly fair. You wouldn’t force Jews to let a bacon-scoffing Rabbi teach in their synagogues would you? Does that mean Jews hate or disrespect me for having the odd pork chop? No. It just goes against the rules of their faith. That’s how I feel about gay deacons.
I for one think that Ott did in fact do what was right. It’s one thing for a person to out their self I would think. I think that she was not doing that to throw it in anyones face, but in fact to be honest. I use to attend Pennepack Church but, my parents moved away for their jobs.
I was almost the same age as her, I was younger I looked up to her not because she was tall. She was very mature for her age, cared fo everyone around her, whould go out of her way to help others even though she did’t drive and would have to travel to do an errand.
From what I have heard through a friend who goes to Collage in Philadelphia and attends FBC with Ott. She is on their Empowerment Team, and would like to Serve on Music Ministry and is working with her employeer to have every other Sat off to do so. She is a fighter from what I can remember my Friend from FBC stated to me the same.
Ott can quote the Bible quicker than anyone I know, and lives in celbicy not sin. For it is something that can not be changed. It is not an Illness
looks like this was predictable in the UK there would be an investigation has anyone done this?
