Christine Flowers is infuriating. Having charges dropped does not equate to being found innocent of all crimes and make your intentions instantaneously pure and holy.
Comparing the Duke lacrosse players to Christian martyrs is unbelievably irresponsible and idiotic on Flowers’ part. After all, how many upstanding Christian martyrs hire strippers to work their prayer meetings?
Sorry for the rant. The thinly veiled racist and elitist language in Flowers work is just so annoying. I would send her an email, but really, what’s the point of that?
What about the part where the chief law enforcement officer for the state of North Carolina declared unquivocally that the students were “innocent”? You miss that one?
