Vallas To Exit; District Looks For Kid-Friendly Leader

Paul Vallas is packing his things, has rented a U-Haul truck and will be outta here as soon as possible. The superintendent of the school district, the guy with a plan to turn every other building in Philadelphia into a magnet school, says five years is enough.

His loss will most likely be celebrated by some, and sadden others, but the main thing is: The School District of Philadelphia needs a new superintendent who cares about the students.

“I think it’s a major blow to the city of Philadelphia and the school district,” Greg Wade, president of the Home and School Council, the district’s parents’ group, said of Vallas’ departure. “Say what you want about the man, he had our best interests at heart. I truly believe that.”

Yeah. I mean, what about all those school superintendents who hate kids and routinely beat them with rulers? Paul Vallas wasn’t one of them. Whoo!

Here is some things that wasn’t a secret when it comes to Paul Vallas

    1) He was either going to quit or resign or be fired anyway.
    2) He never wanted this bull–t job in the first place.
    3) He never cared about our children, our school system or improving both. Only about money.
    4) He was trying to sell the school system to the highest bidder. After all the attacks in our local schools, the deals fell through. So did he.
    5) He love Chicago, Not Philly!!!
6)He was just holding on until something came up in his real home, Chi-Town.
7)He wanted to run the state of Illinois, not become Joe Clarke and help reform our destroyed schools.

And that leads me to the title of this post. He wanted to run the state of Ill for years. And he didn’t make it a secret on his personal ambitions. If he didn’t get a extension from the City , he was out the door anyway. I say why waste your time and our children time and haul butt out of here long time ago. He has never showed loyalty to our city, or children or this city. His team is the Bulls and he loves E.R. what more can I say. Im glad he finally got the balls to finally say that he’s not the man for the job and go for the job he’s wanted since he was kicked from Chicago, GOVERNOR.
