Philly.com Passes On Way To Drive People To SiteYesterday, Philly.com apparently had an ad on its website advertising “free porn”, according to mydigimedia:
The ad, if you can’t read it, links to “free porn.” (You’ll note Phil Jasner is on the page with the porn ad. Previously, the only to sit next to porn ads was Rich Hoffman.) Anyway, Philly.com’s executive producer wrote in and said the whole thing was a mistake and Philly.com is no longer offering free porn. This is the aforementioned Philly.com exec producer. Somebody passed on this link. Honestly, that does not say ‘Free Porn.’ It says ‘Free Pass’ and below that ‘Live Show.’ Now this wasn’t the most civic-minded coupon we’ve ever run, but clicking on it did not give anyone access to porn - just a couple dollars off a visit to an adult club in South Jersey. After two days of this, I almost feel apologetic about that. I’m glad the weekend is upon us. Hope this helps clear it up. Love the blog.
