Fluffy Wittle Puppy Nearly Foils Robber
A robber went into a Bensalem vet hospital and asked if the workers there would purchase a Petco giftcard with $48 on it for $20. No dice, they said. So he left, came back and ran behind the counter, saying he’d kill the 20- and 23-year-old workers. Then he stole the one woman’s wallet and ran outside — but not before being slowed down by a tiny little doggy! Yes, a Cairn terrier — average height 9-to-13 inches, average weight 13-18 pounds — attempted to save the day by barking at and then biting the suspect. Little Scruffy’s attempt failed, though, and the robber got away after hitting one of the workers with his car. Both the woman and Scruffy are okay.
