Brady: Knox Sold Poison Milk To Schoolchildren

Well, well! It appeared that Bob Brady’s failure to disclose his city pension would only be challenged by Milton Street, which meant Brady would be safe from being kicked off the ballot.

Not so! Step right up, challengers Tom Knox and Dwight Evans, you’re the next contestants on The Mayoral Nominating Petitions Snafu! Both mayoral hopefuls are challenging Brady’s petitions, attempting to knock him off the ballot for the horrific crime of forgetting to disclose some money he receives from the city.

Oh, actually, Knox has a few more, including failing to disclose the income he receives from an unpaid job. “If you can’t meet the basics of following the law, how do you run the city?” Dwight Evans said.

But Brady got his chance to fire back, through his spokeswoman Kate Phillips:

“We’re not worried about it,” Brady campaign spokeswoman Kate Philips said last night of the Knox-backed challenge. “Bob Brady is running for mayor because the city needs a leader. We don’t need a political sideshow engineered by a man who’s never helped anyone a day in his life.”

Ha! Not even Milton got that kind of treatment. Geeze, didn’t Brady learn anything from Knox’s ads?
