Diner Owner Taking Down Philly’s Robbers One By One

A West Oak Lane diner owner shot two men who allegedly attempted to rob him yesterday. Jason Lee, owner of Sunrise Breakfast, managed to grab his revolver when one of the robbers got behind the counter.

After shooting and killing one robber, Lee then shot the other one — who had fired at him. While the robber was outside, the owner stopped him as he attempted to stumble away.

NBC 10 has, of course, an interview with Jason Lee, and they shockingly don’t promote My Name is Earl during the report. However, this part caught my eye:

This wasn’t the first time Lee was targeted. He was robbed twice in two other stores he owned. One of those times, he shot and killed a robber.

Dear Criminals of Philadelphia: You may be criminals, but I don’t want you to die. Please stop robbing Jason Lee!
