Queena Bass Campaign In Full Swing
You may have seen perennial Democratic mayoral candidate Queena Bass around the city, getting people to sign her nominating petition so she can run for mayor. (Bass actually was in a pizza shop I was at a few months ago, campaigning.) But the longshot, who got 1,800 votes for mayor in 1999, has a different message this time around, reports Gar Joseph:
Yes! Queena Bass is back, baby! And she needs our support, honestly. Could you imagine how much fun this city would be if Bass were mayor? Plus, with all that feel good love going around the city, I could probably get a date for once. Bass: Where’s the love? [Daily News, 4th item] |

Queena Bass needs to get off her megaphone and stop disturbing the peace and livelihood of those she ignorantly disrespects. I’ve talked to her personally, read her literature, and can tell you first-hand that she can’t have an IQ over 90 or an idea worth thinking. We’re talking just as stupid as Bush, but preprogrammed to be “the victim” immemorial. I can’t find anything she’s ever said that isn’t blaming somebody/thing else for the social ills she has been forced to endure. Even if you don’t want to take my word for how patently stupid she is (I can’t imagine why she’d ever get fired? must’ve been society’s big unjust fist), it’s impossible to ignore the hypocrisy of disrupting the peace of others “in the name of justice and suffering” ( and “*insert crazy rant here”) because she couldn’t manage civility with her landlords (or employers). My right to a peaceful home should outweigh her right to be obnoxious with a megaphone, and yet when I call the police they say they’re powerless. Queena Qwaazy needs to seek psychiatric help and stop bothering those of us who have actual, meaningful work to do.
